Eagles pulling coaches off pro day circuit amid the coronavirus concerns

With organizations from sports leagues across the world unsure of how to properly protect the public safety and health amid the coronavirus, the Philadelphia Eagles have taken steps to protect their personnel as well.

Jeremy Fowler and Tim McManus of ESPN.com are reporting that the Eagles have pulled coaches and essential personnel off the Pro Day circuit amid concerns over the COVID-19 or Coronavirus.

As of now, Eagles scouts will continue to hit the road and access draft prospects.

Tom Pelissero of NFL.com is reporting that teams around the NFL are altering their pre-draft travel plans as a precaution to the rising concerns about the virus known as COVID-19.

The Steelers are limited the way their coaches and scouts travel across the country until further notice, while the Eagles reportedly pulled all of its coaches off the road Tuesday, citing concerns over a possible quarantine after the Oklahoma Pro Day.

Zach Berman of The Athletic reported that the Eagles coaches were not on the road, but that the team was using a combination of factors in their decision making.
