Eagles protect four practice squad players for Week 15 vs. Cardinals

The Philadelphia Eagles protected four players in advance of Sunday’s exciting road matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

With the injuries to cornerbacks Avonte Maddox (knee) and Darius Slay (concussion), the Eagles protected cornerback Jameson Houston, who played 4 special team snaps against the Saints.

Jordan Howard was called up for the Week 13 matchup with the Packers and racked up 19 yards on four carries. Rashad Smith played seven special team’s snaps against the Saints, while Prince Tega Wanogho, a 2020 sixth-round pick, has yet to see action this season.
