Eagles promote WR Greg Ward from practice squad to the active roster

With DeSean Jackson out and Alshon Jeffery’s status for Sunday an unknown, the Philadelphia Eagles felt the need to add some speed to the skill positions. The Eagles just announced that Greg Ward will be called up to the active roster.

Ward had a strong training camp and preseason, signing to the Eagles practice squad after being one of the final cuts during the trim down to 53. The Eagles will also have Nelson Agholor, JJ Arcega-Whiteside and Mack Hollins available at wide receiver.
