Eagles promote CB Ryan Lewis from the practice squad to the active roster

The Philadelphia Eagles are thin at cornerback and that means recently signed practice squad member, Ryan Lewis will see snaps against the New York Jets on Sunday. Lewis was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster.

Lewis attended the University of Pittsburgh with Avonte Maddox and was signed by the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2017. He’s spent time with the Patriots, Bills and most recently, the Indianapolis Colts. Lewis, 25, started three games for the Bills in 2018.
