Eagles place WR Alshon Jeffery on the active/PUP list

In a move that was expected but should give fans a reason for optimism, the Eagles have placed star wide receiver, Alshon Jeffery, on the active/PUP list.

The news comes hours after it was reported that wide receiver Marquise Goodwin was opting out of the 2020 NFL season amid Covid-19 concerns after he and his wife just had a new baby five months ago.

Jeffery is returning from a Lisfranc injury and head coach Doug Pederson gave an update on his rehab during his Monday zoom presser but offered no specific timetable.
