Eagles officially announce the hiring of Kellen Moore as offensive ccordinator

With Jim Harbaugh now the head coach of the Chargers, Kellen Moore was on the outs, and he found the perfect landing spot.

Adam Schefter reported that the former Cowboys and Chargers play caller will get Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offense back on track as the team’s new offensive coordinator.

Philadelphia officially announced the move on Monday.

The 35-year-old Moore spent the 2023 season as the Chargers’ offensive coordinator. After five seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, he joined Brandon Staley’s staff in January 2023.

In 2023, the Chargers finished No. 18 in total yards and No. 21 in points scored.

In 2019, the Cowboys offense finished No. 1 in yards and No. 6 in points with Moore as offensive coordinator.

Dallas was No. 1 in both categories in the 2021 season.
