Eagles officially announce the acquisition of DeSean Jackson from the Bucs

DeSean Jackson is officially a member of the Philadelphia Eagles once again, after the team made trade official, announcing the terms via social media.

The Eagles traded a sixth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft to Tampa Bay, for Jackson and a seventh-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. For Jackson, it’s a return to where it all started and voiced his happiness with returning to the team that drafted him while being greeted by the media and fans at the Philadelphia airport.

“It feels great. Unreal,” Jackson told NBC Sports Philadelphia at the airport. “It’s a blessing.”

The Eagles and Jackson have agreed to a new three-year contract that will give the talented wide receiver $13 million guaranteed and is worth up to $27 million in total value.
