Eagles’ Miles Sanders, Lane Johnson on track to make season debuts vs. the Rams

The Philadelphia Eagles are set to have two of their most important weapons return just in time for a home showdown with Aaron Donald and the LA Rams. Adam Schefter is reporting that Eagles’ running back Miles Sanders and star right tackle Lane Johnson are “on track” to play this week vs Los Angeles.

Both players missed the loss to Washington with lower-body injuries and their combined absence played a huge part in the Eagles’ inability to run the ball or handle the pressure from the Washington Football Teams’ stout front.

Sanders is underrated as a pass blocker and his absence was felt on multiple levels of pass protection.
