Eagles LB Zach Brown calls Kirk Cousins the “weakest part” of Vikings offensive attack

Zach Brown pulls no punches when answering questions from the media, so his response to former teammate Kirk Cousins shouldn’t have shocked anyone.

Brown and Cousins were teammates in Washington for one season (7-9), and when asked for insight into what the Birds should expect in Minnesota, he laid into the Vikings quarterback.

“Cousins, I think every defense is going to want that guy to throw the ball,” Brown said after Friday’s practice to ESPN’s Tim McManus. “For me, that’s probably the weakest part of their offense is him. Everything else is good. They’ve got a good running game, probably one of the best in the league. They have real good receivers. You just want them to pass the ball. You want Kirk Cousins to get it in his hands.”

Brown went on to state that Cousins was “careless” with the ball and he makes his own bed most of the time. We wrote earlier in the week, about the Eagles needing to make Dalvin Cook beat them. Cousins has played well against Philadelphia, going 5-3, passing for 17 touchdowns to five interceptions and a quarterback rating of 101.2.
