Eagles land in top 25 of Forbes’ most valuable sports teams

The Philadelphia Eagles are among the gold standard in sports when it comes to NFL franchises and Jeffery Lurie continues to prove that he made a stunning investment when he purchased the Birds over 25 years ago. Forbes’ just released their annual ranking of the 50 most valuable sports teams in the world, and the Birds came in at No. 24 on the list.

The Eagles franchise actually grew in value by $10 million.

The NFL is the most popular show in sports and it again dominated with the Dallas Cowboys being named the most valuable with a value of $5 billion.

Even with their growth, the Eagles fell from 22nd to 24th in the rankings, with a value of $2.75 billion, with the NBA’s Chicago Bulls and the Boston Celtics coming in ahead of the Birds.
