Eagles’ Jason Peters, Andre Dillard both leave game vs. Lions with ailments

It’s unclear how serious the injury is, but Eagles starting left tackle Jason Peters has exited the ballgame against the Detroit Lions with an injury.

Rookie left tackle and the first-round pick, Andre Dillard, entered the game for Peters, but now he’s down after suffering an ugly-looking ankle injury.

Dillard would walk off the field on his own to the Eagles’ medical tent before eventually returning to the Eagles’ locker room. With both Peters and Dillard out, Halapoulivaati Vaitai has been inserted into the lineup at left tackle after practicing at right guard.
