Eagles Injury Report: Jalen Mills returns to practice; 7 other Birds DNP

The Eagles returned to practice on Wednesday to begin the on-field preparation for their huge Sunday night tilt against the Dallas Cowboys on NBC. Doug Pederson confirmed the reports that Jason Peters would miss time with a knee injury.

Peters was present at the NovaCare Complex but didn’t take part in any team activities, as Andre Dillard took all the first-team reps in preparation for his first NFL start on the road in Dallas. The Eagles received some good news on Wednesday when cornerback Jalen Mills returned to practice.

Mills isn’t currently listed on the 53 man roster, so he didn’t show up on the injury report as a full or limited participant.

Nigel Bradham did not practice (ankle) and is still in a walking boot. Star defensive tackle Fletcher Cox missed the session because of illness, while WR DeSean Jackson (abdomen), DT Timmy Jernigan (foot), CB Avonte Maddox (concussion, neck), T Jason Peters (knee), and RB Darren Sproles (quadricep) all sat out as well.

Ronald Darby was a limited participant with a hamstring injury.
