Eagles injury report for open training camp practice

The Philadelphia Eagles are just minutes from holding their only open practice to the public this preseason and the team just revealed the injury report. There’s a new name on the list, as Kamu Grugier-Hill is officially out for several weeks with a knee sprain.

Here’s a list of guys who are unlikely to participate tonight as well.

Brandon Brooks:

After returning from his Achilles injury, Brooks is still only getting reps in 7-on-7 drills and probably won’t see a meaningful play in 11-on-11 until week 1 of the regular season.

Fletcher Cox:

Like Brooks, Cox is dressed daily but hasn’t been a full participant as he recovers from offseason foot surgery. With nothing to prove during the preseason, Cox will likely ease back into playing shape.

Cre’Von LeBlanc:

The Eagles slot cornerback is reportedly dealing with a Lisfranc sprain in his foot and could be out until November at the earliest.

Nigel Bradham:

Bradham has been limited in camp with a toe injury but has been getting first-team reps at linebacker.

Rodney McLeod:

McLeod is only doing individual drills at this point and hinted at week 3 of the preseason for his return to game action.

Ronald Darby:

Darby is off the PUP list yet will probably spend the bulk of the preseason continuing to rehab with the season opener being a possible target date.

Paul Worrilow:

After missing last season with an ACL injury, Worrilow is “day to day” but improving.

Jalen Mills:

Mills is the only player on the PUP list and could remain there throughout the duration of training camp.
