Eagles injury report: Brandon Brooks, Derek Barnett listed as limited; Fletcher Cox ready for week 1

The Philadelphia Eagles returned to practice on Wednesday and released their first injury report of the 2019 NFL regular season. Only a few players were listed, with Jason Kelce getting a day off for rest. Brandon Brooks and Derek Barnett were limited participants due to injuries that required offseason surgery.

Limited: C Kelce (not injury related – rest), DE Barnett (shoulder), G Brooks (Achilles), S Ford (Achilles).

Safety and special teams ace, Rudy Ford, was limited with an Achilles injury. Jordan Mailata sat out practice again with a lingering back injury.

Fletcher Cox and Nigel Bradham were not on the injury report, indicating that both players are on pace to start the season opener after missing most of the preseason.
