Eagles hopeful Zach Ertz can play vs. Seahawks despite not being cleared for contact

The Philadelphia Eagles are just two days away from kicking off wild card weekend and Doug Pederson provided the final updates on his team’s injuries situation.

Pederson told the media that Lane Johnson (ankle), running back Miles Sanders (ankle) and Ertz (ribs/back) are all working toward returning to face the Seattle Seahawks, but none are guarantees at this time.

With Ertz, Pederson said that his star tight end could still play without practicing all week, but the final decision will be made by medical personnel.

Ertz will spend Friday working a little bit on the side again as the Eagles await the doctor’s results to determine if he’ll play.
