Eagles HC Doug Pederson confirms Alshon Jeffery will not play vs. the Bengals

The Philadelphia Eagles are excited to have star wide receiver Alshon Jeffery back in the fold practicing and working out with the team. Jeffery has been doing individual drills, but during his Friday morning zoom meeting, head coach Doug Pederson confirmed that Jeffery will not play at homes against the Bengals.

Jeffery practiced on Thursday for the first time since last December after missing the last nine-plus months with a foot injury that required surgery. Jeffery could be the missing piece for an Eagles offense that is struggling to push the ball downfield with Carson Wentz, who’s been relying too much on the tight ends.
