Eagles get up-close look at Alabama State OT Tytus Howard

The Philadelphia Eagles have depth issues along the offensive and defensive lines, but reinforcements could be on the way for both sides of the ball, via the NFL Draft. The Eagles have yet to formally make a decision on the future of left tackle Jason Peters. The future Hall of Famer could be cut or asked to restructure his contract as the Eagles work to cut salary for space just days before free agency begins.

Jason Kelce is back at center, and Brandon Brooks is recovering well from Achilles surgery. Even with the depth and strength along the offensive line, the Eagles could benefit from adding talent to the depth chart.

One such name to keep an eye out for is Alabama State right tackle, Tytus Howard. If the Eagles choose to go offensive line at No. 25 in the first round, they could target Howard, who the Birds have gotten to know very well since the Senior Bowl.

Tytus recently participated in his Pro Day workout, and according to various reports, Eagles offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland, was front and center, putting Tytus through his on-field drills.

Howard is also expected to have a formal visit with the Eagles in the near future as well.
