Eagles get DeSean Jackson, Darren Sproles back for Bears game

Bears safety Eddie Jackson was limited in practice Friday but will play Sunday. | AP Photos

PHILADELPHIA — While the Eagles are getting healthier, the Bears might have posted the cleanest game participation report of the season.

Only one player, outside linebacker Isaiah Irving, will miss Sunday’s game because of an injury. Everyone else is a healthy scratch: safety Deon Bush, cornerback Duke Shelley, linebacker Josh Woods, offensive lineman Alex Bars, defensive lineman Abdullah Anderson and wide receiver Riley Ridley.

Four Bears starters were limited in practice Friday — tight end Trey Burton, receiver Taylor Gabriel, safety Eddie Jackson and defensive end Bilal Nichols — but none were listed on the game status report.

Irving, who has a quad injury, didn’t fly with the team to Philadelphia.

Eagles speedster DeSean Jackson is playing for the first time since Week 2 after being out with an abdominal injury. Running back Darren Sproles, who missed the last three games with a quad injury, will play, too.

Defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan will play for the first time since Week 2 after recovering from a foot injury, and nickel cornerback Avonte Adams will return after missing four games because of a neck problem and a concussion. The Eagles ruled out starting left tackle Jason Peters on Friday.
