Eagles fear Rodney McLeod may have suffered a significant knee injury vs. the Saints

The Eagles may have finally hit their stride on Sunday and as the Birds look to make a late playoff run, they could be forced to continue on with Rodney McLeod.

Per John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia, Eagles brass fears McLeod may have suffered a severe knee injury late in the win over New Orleans.

McLeod is scheduled to undergo an MRI Monday morning after suffering a non-contact left knee injury five minutes into the third quarter and did not return to the game along with Darius Slay.

Similar to Malcolm Jenkins,

The Eagles could also be without Avonte Maddox (knee) and Darius Slay (concussion) after already being without Cre’Von LeBlanc and Craig James, who are on Injured Reserve.

The injuries leave Philadelphia with six available defensive backs for the Week 15 matchup with the Cardinals: Jalen Mills, Nickell Robey-Coleman, rookie K’Von Wallace, special teamer Marcus Epps, newly acquired Kevon Seymour (in his first game since 2017) and undrafted rookie Jameson Houston.

McLeod has logged 1,948 Eagles defensive snaps over the last two years and was the only player on either side of the ball who hadn’t missed a snap this year.
