Eagles fall to 3-4 after embarrassing 37-10 loss to Cowboys on Sunday Night Football

The Philadelphia Eagles entered the 2019 season with Super Bowl aspirations, but after Sunday night’s beatdown in Arlington, Texas, the Birds are scrambling to figure out if they’ll be playoff-worthy. The Eagles looked unprepared and outclassed during an embarrassing loss to the Cowboys in Dallas.

On defense, the Eagles look lost and have given up 75 points combined the last two weeks, while being outscored by 45 points in the 2 losses.

The Eagles offense struggled throughout the evening again with DeSean Jackson and two early turnovers by Dallas Goedert and Carson Wentz put the Eagles in an early hole. The Eagles struggled to gain any continuity from the start and after cutting an early first-quarter deficit to 14-7, the Birds struggle to put up any major offense going forward.

Wentz played his worst game of the season, losing a fumble on a strip-sack in the first quarter, while also tossing an interception and losing another fumble in the fourth quarter.

Overall, Wentz was 16-of-26 for 191 yards one touchdown and one interception, while his counterpart, Dak Prescott, passed for 239 yards and a touchdown and ran for another score. Amari Cooper caught five passes for 106 yards.
