Eagles fall 6 spots in the USA Today Week 2 power rankings

The Philadelphia Eagles are one of the best teams in the NFL, but as they prepare for their Sunday Night showdown against the Atlanta Falcons in primetime, they’re now facing the weight of huge expectations.

Following their Week 1 win over the Washington Redskins, The Eagles landed top-five praise from analyst and experts around the league but slid six spots to No. 10 in USA Today’s NFL Power Rankings after looking lethargic during a rocky first half of their season opener.

Miles Sanders and Jordan Howard provide a formidable one-two punch, while DeSean Jackson and Carson Wentz’s immediate chemistry has many around the league still high on the Eagles juggernaut of an offense.
