Eagles enter 2019 season with 13th most salary cap space in NFL

The Philadelphia Eagles don’t have the most salary-cap space in the NFL currently, but after some cap manipulation and signing Carson Wentz to a team-friendly extension, the Birds are still sitting comfortably as Week 1 of the 2019 regular season.

After trading for Jordan Howard, giving Carson Wentz $107 million guaranteed and bringing Brandon Graham back in free agency, Philadelphia currently sits with just over $14 million in salary-cap space, per Field Yates of ESPN.

Entering the 2019 season, the Eagles only have four players with a cap hit of more than $10 million and that list includes wide receiver Alshon Jeffery ($14.7 million), right guard Brandon Brooks ($11.9 million) and defensive tackle Fletcher Cox ($11.3 million).
