Eagles elevate RB Jordan Howard from practice squad to the active roster for game vs. Packers

With Philadelphia needing to run the ball with purpose at Lambeau Field, the Eagles have elevated veteran running back Jordan Howard to the active roster for Sunday afternoon’s ballgame.

Howard will make his 2020 Eagles debut after signing to the practice squad on November 23.

Howard played a huge role in the Eagles’ Thursday night win over the Packers in Week 4 of the 2019 season when he had 115 yards total from scrimmage and three total touchdowns in a 34-27 victory, Green Bay’s only home loss last season.

Last season for the Eagles, Howard gained 525 rushing yards and scored six touchdowns before a shoulder injury suffered in the ninth game of the season allowed Miles Sanders to breakout.
