Eagles agree to 1-year deal with DT Ndamukong Suh

The Eagles continue to fortify their defensive line as they enter the second half of the season. After already signing Linval Joseph, they’re now adding another Pro Bowl D-lineman. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Eagles and Ndamukong Suh have agreed to terms on a one-year deal.

The terms of the contract were not immediately disclosed.

Suh hasn’t played a game yet this season, remaining a free agent after his contract with the Buccaneers expired in the offseason. In 17 games with the Bucs last year, Suh made 27 tackles, had six sacks and hit the quarterback 13 times. He’s never missed a game due to injury in his career, playing and starting 191 games across 12 seasons.

Suh, 35, is a five-time Pro Bowler and was selected as a first-team All-Pro twice in 2013 and 2014. Though he hasn’t made the Pro Bowl since 2016 with the Dolphins, he’s remained a productive interior defender.
