Eagles’ defense records 10 sacks in dominant 31-6 victory over the Jets

The Philadelphia Eagles defense has been much maligned over the past two years, but on Sunday, the Birds took out all of their frustrations on the New York Jets. Behind three sacks from Brandon Graham, the Birds recorded an amazing 10 sacks on the afternoon, in a dominant 31-6 victory at Lincoln Financial Field.

The 10 sacks tied for second in franchise history with the Eagles defense from the 2007 season, that racked up double-digit sacks against the Detroit Lions.

It wasn’t the ultimate test, with the Jets bringing one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL into the Linc, but the Eagles did what good teams are supposed to do, feasting on a less talented Jets front that was playing without starting quarterback, Sam Darnold.
