Eagles cut Tre Sullivan; sign S Jason Thompson

The Philadelphia Eagles continue to make roster moves on this Tuesday, this time cutting safety Tre Sullivan and signing Jason Thompson in his place.

Thompson, 6-2, 210, was originally signed by Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Utah in 2017. H was just released by Falcons a few days ago.

Sullivan, a 2017 undrafted rookie free agent out of Division II Shepherd, spent a portion of the 2017 season on the Eagles’ practice squad. During the injury-plagued 2018 season, Sullivan was on the Eagles’ roster for 12 regular-season games, making one start and two in the playoffs.
