Eagles could have interest in RB Darrell Henderson as Duce Staley get up-close look at his Pro Day

The Philadelphia Eagles no longer have a pressing need at running back after adding Jordan Howard via trade, but that won’t stop Howie Roseman and company from stocking the team with talent for years to come. With three picks in the first 57 selections, the Eagles could still go running back, especially if the explosive Darrell Henderson is still on the board.

The Eagles reportedly have interest in the talented running back.

Even more telling, running backs coach and assistant, Duce Staley, was on hand at his Pro Day at Memphis and took part in working the talented tailback out.

Henderson did agility drills today but did not run the 40-yard dash, saying he was comfortable with his time at the NFL scouting combine that clocked him at 4.37 seconds.

Per the Commercial Appeal:

“All the coaches (are) still telling me 4.37 so what they’re saying outside of that, I’m focused on the 4.37,” Henderson said.

In all, 55 NFL scouts from all 32 teams were in attendance to see Henderson put on a show.
