Eagles confirm Cody Kessler suffered concussion vs. Jaguars

The Philadelphia Eagles have placed quarterback Cody Kessler in the concussion protocol after he was forced to leave the Birds preseason game vs. the Jaguars with a head injury.

Kessler took a huge hit on a drop back and after playing one more down, was removed from the game and evaluated for a concussion.

The Eagles could decide to bring in a veteran for the next week or so, but as of now, currently, only have two healthy quarterbacks in Carson Wentz and Clayton Thorson.
