Eagles CB Darius Slay works out with young athletes in Detroit after sending invite on Twitter

The Philadelphia Eagles would normally be in the midst of a minicamp or finishing up the offseason workout program in advance of training camp.

With the coronavirus pandemic keeping Eagles teammates socially distanced until late July, players have found creative ways to work out.

Darius Slay has worked out with Brandon Graham, while Fletcher Cox got the Eagles defensive line together for workouts in Texas.

Slay was looking to get in some more work on Thursday and decided to invite kids from the community to participate.

A group of young athletes accepted and thanks to photos from Slay via John Clark, everyone got better.

A talented photographer and videographer, Highlight Higgy provided the video.

Among those in attendance were Colorado State cornerback Xavier Goldsmith and Marquise Stokes.

That was super cool of Slay with everything going on in the country and Eagles fans are going to fall in love with the talented and thoughtful cornerback on a weekly basis.
