Eagles CB Cre’Von LeBlanc on ‘family tragedies’ shaping the gritty player he’s become

The Eagle with the most swag has returned to the nest, as Cre’Von LeBlanc re-signed with the Birds just hours after being released to make room for running back Jason Huntley.

The man knowns as ‘Strap_ENT’ brings a passion and grit to the game that has allowed him to become an integral part of the Philadelphia Eagles secondary. During a recent sitdown with NBC Sports Philadelphia’s John Clark, LeBlanc gave some insight into what makes him and how he plays for his family.

His father, Craig LeBlanc died of a heart attack at age 44, when Cre’Von was a high school sophomore, while his brother, Craig Jr., is serving a life sentence in a Florida prison for a shooting death.

The attitude of the Eagles secondary, LeBlanc turned down better offers to return to Philadelphia and finish the mission.
