Eagles' Carson Wentz leaves game vs. Rams with knee injury

LOS ANGELES _ Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz went to the locker room in third quarter of the Eagles-Rams game on Sunday. He is out for the rest of the game with a knee injury.

Wentz took a big hit to his lower body when he tried rushing for two-yard a touchdown. The play was for naught, because a penalty nullified the play. Wentz stayed in the game and threw a two-yard touchdown pass on fourth down to give the Eagles a 31-28 lead.

He then walked slowly to the sideline, where the medical staff evaluated him in a makeshift blue tent. After a few minutes, Wentz was escorted to the locker room. Nick Foles replaced him.
