Carson Wentz is entering a pivotal year in his NFL career and he’ll be surrounded by the most offensive talent on the Eagles roster since the Birds Super Bowl season.
NFL personnel guru Daniel Jeremiah recently listed his top-8 quarterbacks in the NFL with explanation and in a surprise, Wentz landed at No. 3 on the list, ahead of NFL MVP Lamar Jackson on the list.
“We saw what he can do in the Super Bowl year when he should have won MVP.”
“The Physicality he plays the position with, his ability to pull through tackles, stand firm in the pocket, Wentz is in the MVP discussion this season.”
Russell Wilson was No. 2 on the list followed by Super Bowl MVP and the league’s top player, Patrick Mahomes, who was No. 1 on the list.
