Karl Scott is expected to take a coaching position with the Vikings after spending three seasons at Alabama, working with cornerbacks and the move will have a trickle-down impact on the Eagles.
Adam Rittenberg is reporting that recently hired cornerbacks coach, Jay Valai, will now join Saban’s staff at Alabama after Scott’s departure.
Valai has been on the move this offseason, leaving the University of Houston after a very brief stay to join the Eagles coaching staff.
He spent two seasons as a quality control coach at Georgia before joining the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018 in a similar role.
