Avonte Maddox has been evaluated by Eagles medical personnel and the team just announced that talented cornerback suffered a concussion and a neck injury after a collision with teammate Andre Sendejo.
Maddox took to Twitter on Friday morning to update the fans on his status after he was allowed to travel back to Philadelphia. Maddox will now likely be placed in the concussion protocol, where he’ll have to be cleared by an independent doctor before he can return to the field.
