Eagles among teams showing interest in signing LeSean McCoy

The Eagles shiftiest running back in history could be heading back to the NovaCare Complex. Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Eagles are among four teams showing an early interest in McCoy after his release by the Bills. https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1167928973055016961

McCoy has a history with Andy Reid and would bolster an already prolific Chiefs offense. With the Chargers contemplating trading Melvin Gordon, McCoy could be a great fit there as well. As far as the Eagles, the Birds kept four running backs on the roster and it would be interesting to see where McCoy would fit in a pecking order that now includes Jordan Howard, Miles Sanders, and Corey Clement.

McCoy, who was drafted by the Birds out of Pitt, is organizations all-time leading rusher, a six-time Pro Bowler (2011, 2013–2017) and a two-time first-team All-Pro (2011, 2013). With the Bills choosing to roll with Devin Singletary and Frank Gore, McCoy is now a free agent.
