Eagles acquire DT Hassan Ridgeway from the Colts in exchange for 7th-round pick

The Philadelphia Eagles got a defensive tackle in the draft, it just came via trade, as the Eagles sent their 7th round pick, No. 246 overall, for Hassan Ridgeway, a gap stuffer.

Ridgeway, a 4th round pick of Colts in 2016 out of Texas, is listed at 6-3, 317 pounds, is a massive player who could fill a potential need on this roster. At Texas, Ridgeway started 18 of 36 games, recording 92 tackles and 9.5 sacks, before entering the draft after his junior season.

Only 24-years old, Ridgeway spent three seasons in Indianapolis, where he appeared in 41 games with five starts, racking up 18 tackles and 4.5 sacks.
