Eagles acquire CB Darius Slay in trade with the Lions

In a blockbuster deal that should finally put a smile on Eagles fans’ faces, the Lions are sending the Pro Bowl cornerback to Philadelphia in a deal that’ll make Slay one of the highest-paid at his position.

The Eagles are trading a 3rd & 5th round pick in this year’s draft to Lions, plus signing Darius Slay to a contract extension that would make him among the highest-paid CB in the NFL.

The three-time Pro Bowler finally gives the Eagles the shut-down caliber they’ve coveted.
