Eagles 53-man roster vs. 49ers: News and notes for Week 13

The Eagles and 49ers are a little over 40 hours away from an NFC Championship game rematch that has grown contentious since last January.

Philadelphia will be without Zach Cunningham (hamstring), while Fletcher Cox (groin) is a gametime decision.

With kickoff fast approaching, here’s an updated 53-man roster for the Eagles.

#0 D'Andre Swift, RB

Swift has 770 rushing yards on the season and will look to go over 1,000 total yards against the 49ers defense.

#1 QB Jalen Hurts

The Eagles are 27-2 (.931) in the last 29 regular-season games started by Jalen Hurts (dating back to Week 15 of 2021), including 16-1 since Week 11 of 2022. Since 2021, Hurts has
posted a .781 winning percentage (32-9), which leads all NFL QBs.

#2 CB Darius Slay

Slay will have a key matchup against 49ers wide receivers Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk.

Elliott has won three Special Teams Player of the Week awards this season, including Week 12 after a 59-yard field goal sent the Eagles to overtime.

#6 WR Devonta Smith

Smith has posted back to back huge performances with opposing defenses focused on A.J. Brown.

Since Week 8, DeVonta Smith leads the Eagles in receptions (23) andreceiving yards (355) while recording 3 receiving TDs during that span.

Smith has eclipsed 99+ receiving yards during 3 of his last 4 games, including a 106-yard performance in Week 12 vs. Buffalo.

Reddick has been vocal about the 49ers trash talk and he’ll be primed for a huge performance.

Dating back to Week 4, Reddick ranks T-4th in the NFL in QB hits (15), 5th in pressures (46) and T-6th in sacks (8.5).

Brown’s 1,050 receiving yards are fourth in the NFL, behind Tyreek Hill (1,324), Keenan Allen (1,117) and CeeDee Lamb (1,066).

Brown has caught 5 TDs in his last 5 games.
