Eagle-eyed viewer spots 'Glasgow's Miles Better' bus in London zombie vampire movie

Even the best directors out there or the biggest TV shows and movies have let errors slip through the cracks that have been picked up on by the public - and caused a few giggles in the process.

From The Starbucks coffee cup spotted during the last season of Game of Thrones , the Stormtrooper banging his head on a door in Episode IV - A New Hope to the car spotted in the background of Braveheart, there's been countless of note over the years.

And now we can add a Glasgow one to the list - after one eagle-eyed movie fan spotted a 'Glasgow's Miles Better' emblazoned double-decker bus in a scene of cult London-set 1985 zombie movie Lifeforce.

The film sees martial law declared in London as space vampires infect most of the city's population after being discovered in the hold of an alien space ship by the crew of a European space shuttle and brought back to Earth.

The viewer took to Twitter to share the hilarious gaffe, and thinks it may have been an in-joke by the production team to include the Glasgow advert in a scene showing London is being besieged by zombies and space vampires.

They tweeted: "I wonder if this was a cheeky dig at London by the production team on “Lifeforce.” With all the mayhem of a chaotic London under siege by zombies and space vampires, this bus with its slogan can be seen swerving through the mass destruction."

As many will no doubt remember, 'Glasgow's Miles Better' was a now famous advertising campaign that caught the imagination of the city when it was launched back in 1983.

The campaign, featuring children’s book character Mr Happy, was directed at investors, potential residents and visitors to the city, and helped spearhead a transformation of the city, not just to how it was perceived by outsiders, but also how those who lived here.
