Robin van Persie showed he's still a true red as he wore Manchester United shin pads for Vincent Kompany's testimonial at the Etihad on Wednesday night.
The Dutchman was part of the Premier League All Stars team that drew 2-2 with a City XI of legends and was reunited with some of his former teammates.
Paul Scholes rolled back the years with a brilliant pass midway through the second half while Gary Neville didn't last long and had to withdraw with a hamstring injury.
Van Persie scored in the second half to put the all-star XI ahead, before a late Benjani equaliser, but it was his shin pads which eagle eyed United supporters spotted on social media.
Through his navy socks the United crest can be seen on his socks and the fans loved it.
