Eagle-eyed Celtic fan spots Bobby Madden doing Scott Brown ‘impression’

Scott Brown will always be adored by Celtic supporters long after he hangs up his boots.

The all-action 33-year-old is the beating heart for the Hoops as they close in on a eighth consecutive Premiership title.

But even more iconic than his exploits on the pitch is his 'Broony' celebration when he puts his hands out in the air to celebrate and an unlikely candidate has been spotted performing it.

A sharp-eyed Hoops fan has noticed referee Bobby Madden appearing to get in on Brown's act during Sunday's game between Celtic and Rangers .

Twitter user @Slimshady1961 spotted the official with his arms outstretched in the aftermath of Alfredo Morelos' red card.

The celebration has had plenty of airing over the years and opposition players have even used it against Brown as Scott Arfield showed off his version during Rangers' 1-0 win at Ibrox.

Alfredo Morelos slams Celtic skipper Scott Brown and claims officials didn't see red card incident

It was born at Ibrox in 2010 when he debuted it right in front of El Hadji-Diouf after he netted the equaliser in a 2-2 Scottish Cup draw.

Brown was involved in a host of talking points during his side's win at the weekend and was lamped by both Morelos and Ryan Kent during the fixture.
