Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon stole the show in Saturday's final in a stunning chartreuse ruffled gown.
But some eagle-eyed viewers were confused as they noticed part of her outfit vanished during magician Damien O'Brien's act.
As the magic act wowed the judges on stage, Alesha could be seen missing one of her enormous gold dangling earrings.
But as the act ended and the judges gave their feedback to Damien, Alesha's earring was firmly back on.
Viewers took to Twitter to point out the gaffe, with some even wondering if it was part of the act.
One tweeted: "Is it just me ,or has anyone else noticed Alesha Dixon was missing an earring 1-minute and then it reappeared the next how strange #BGT ".
Another joked: "Can any magician find Alesha's other earring #BGT ".
"That Damien magician is brilliant he even made Alisha’s right earring disappear #BGT," remarked a third.
Meanwhile, Amanda Holden was unusually modest in a gold sparkly full length one-shoulder gown covered in crystals.
She looked stunning as she waved to the audience as hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly introduced her on stage.
Some fans were disappointed at Amanda's drastically different look, as some hoped she would be especially racy just to rile up pearl-clutching viewers.
Others were relieved they did not have to look at her revealing dress all night.
"Gutted that alesha & Amanda aren’t showing much skin. No complaints tonight from the public!!!" tweeted one.
Another wrote: "I was hoping Amanda Holden would have some more flesh on show as a big [middle finger] to all the complainers".
