Each of the 2021 Miami Dolphins’ scheduled opponents

The Miami Dolphins’ 2020 season has come to a close. And while the new season is as far away as it will ever be this morning, we still know plenty about what the 2021 season will look like for Miami. Primarily, we know what the opponents will look like. Here’s what we know about the 2021 Miami Dolphins schedule:

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Home Games

vs. Carolina Panthers

vs. Atlanta Falcons

vs. Buffalo Bills

vs. New England Patriots

vs. New York Jets

vs. Baltimore Ravens

vs. Indianapolis Colts

vs. Houston Texans

Miami’s home slate is a favorable one, with the exception of those darn Bills and Ravens being on the schedule at all. Miami hasn’t had favorable history against either team as of late, but Miami’s young roster will have enough pieces around to remember the shellackings given out by Baltimore (2019) and Buffalo (2020) and hopefully use those games as “get up” opportunities.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Away Games

at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

at New Orleans Saints

at Buffalo Bills

at New England Patriots

at New York Jets

at Jacksonville Jaguars

at Tennessee Titans

at Las Vegas Raiders

A return trip to Las Vegas? Two clashes with NFC heavyweights on the road? Add in a road trip to visit former Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill and Miami will have quite the road schedule awaiting them in 2021. Thankfully, Miami may avoid future Hall of Fame QB Drew Brees next year and there are winnable games aplenty — and that’s before Miami re-tools their roster this offseason.

Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

To Be Determined

  • New York Giants?

The NFL’s 17th game appears poised to make its debut in 2021. The expectation is that the league will have tams playing a corresponding NFC finisher from the same division ranking as the Dolphins — so Miami will take on a second-place finisher. Expectations have Miami due to play the 2nd-place New York Giants; who finish the season this year at 6-10.
