Fighters are given star ratings in this version of the game, but there has to be another hidden metric that allows EA to rank the fighters from 1-50. As it is, the Top-10 is littered with most of the promotion’s champions.
For the first time in series history, EA UFC has its own ratings adjuster in Daniel Cormier. He will be working with EA developers after each pay-per-view to help determine which fighters deserve a bump up or decline in ratings.
What we have above is a representative of launch ratings, but they could change shortly after the game is released because Cormier battles Miocic for the heavyweight title on August 15. If Cormier wins, he’ll likely campaign to see his ratings jump. Stay tuned for a complete unveiling of the roster once it is available.
