Since launch, EA Sports UFC 5 has been shaped by steady feedback and support from the UFC community. As the team looks toward 2026, attention is beginning to shift forward while also taking a moment to reflect on the game’s journey.
Over the last two years, the game has seen an extended live service run with regular updates, Fight Week events, punch cards, roster additions, alter egos, legends and more. It represents a major chapter for both the developers and the players who stayed engaged throughout the lifecycle.
To thank the community, players can log in today through February 10 to claim the following Alter Egos and vanity items.

Patch 1.31 also marks the final update to add new playable content, including fighters, alter egos, CAF items and event fight kits. Support will continue through Fight Week challenges, stat and record updates after UFC numbered events, online services and ongoing maintenance.
Looking ahead, the team says 2026 is shaping up to be a significant year for the UFC series with new ideas and innovations already in the works. They added that more details on what they’ve been building will be shared in the spring. The hype train for UFC 6 is just around the corner.
