EA Sports has announced Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard as the cover athlete of the FIFA 20 Standard Edition and Liverpool 's Virgil van Dijk as the cover of the FIFA 20 Champions Edition.
Hazard's move to the Spanish capital has been the high-profile transfer of the summer window.
Van Dijk was a standout performer for Liverpool last season and was instrumental in the clubs Champions League winning campaign and their Premier League title challenge.
Last year's edition of the popular video game featured former Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo as the cover star after his shock move to Juventus from Los Blancos.
Upon the announcement of the covers, Hazard and Van Dijk spoke of their delight after being revealed as the cover stars.
“EA Sports FIFA is the biggest football game on the planet, and I have been playing it for years against my brothers,” said Hazard.
“I am lucky to have been on the cover before but to be on FIFA 20 globally is amazing and I hope to excite as many gamers as I do when I take the field for Real Madrid this season!”
Van Dijk echoed Hazard stating: "It is a huge honour for me to be on the cover of FIFA 20,"
"I’ve been playing FIFA for as long as I can remember and so it’s an extremely proud moment for me to be representing Liverpool FC on the cover of such an iconic game".
The reveal of Hazard and van Dijk follows the announcement of "Volta" Football in FIFA 20, which is an all-new experience inspired by the small-sided form of football played in the streets, cages and futsal courts across the world.
The FIFA 20 Standard Edition is available worldwide on the 27th September and the Champions Edition is available 3-days prior on 24th.
