EA Sports FC 26 Season 3 Available Now with Spain ’82 World Tour and New Icons

EA Sports FC 26’s Season 3 has officially rolled out, and this time, it takes us on a nostalgic trip back to Spain ‘82 — the legendary World Cup where Italy took home their third title. Ultimate Team-style modes are introduced to a wave of new content. The update includes special Evolutions, World Tour player items, live events, and a brand-new campaign Icon in the Season Pass.

The big showstopper of Season 3 is the World Tour: Spain 8 program. You can unlock throwback players inspired by that era, maybe a special World Tour José Luis Gayà. There’s also a bunch of new pack rewards and Silver-focused competitions that put young talents in the limelight.

Not just that, but the usual Season Ladder has been overhauled as well, refreshed with more than 80 available rewards — from packs and player picks to cosmetic upgrades, training boosts, and even Stadium items.

Moreover, the Premium Pass is being considered the best-value Season Pass FC 26 has ever seen. Offering exclusive Evolutions, better pack drops, and this season’s campaign icon, it’s a deal hard to pass up on. Whether or not we’ll see a similarly generous Season Pass in the future remains to be seen.

Community Reaction: Hype Meets Familiar Concerns

The community reaction has mostly been a split, but the hype is still there. Retro-themes have a fanbase of their own, and when one gets tied to such a classic tournament, fans go crazy. The new World Tour mode and role-based Evolutions have squad builders buzzing to form the perfect Spain ‘82 inspired lineup.

However, as with every other update, there is some criticism. The return of Silver events and tiered Evolutions means the grind is back on, which isn’t great news for players who don’t play daily. Some worry that late-season power creep will just make it harder for casual players to keep up with those who can invest more time or money.

Even so, people are back on their controllers, and the new themed objectives are already pulling them back in. Season 3’s shaping up to be one of the most diverse and nostalgic of FC 26. So, whether you’re testing out Evolutions, grinding for Icons, or just soaking up the Spain ‘82 vibes — there’s a lot to dig into this season.
