EA skate. Early Access is set to launch tomorrow, September 16. Ahead of release the developers have shared some of the known issues they are currently addressing. These updates should be ready by the time Season 1 begins in a few weeks with update 0.28.0.
Unfortunately, some players have run into issues like getting trapped by dropped items in shop spawn locations, which can be avoided by setting “Quick Drop Visibility” in social settings to “Only Me.” Others have been unable to progress in Tour 1’s Skater Eyes: Stunting 101, experienced invisible Quick Drops or in rare cases, had their skater disappear when exiting a grind. These problems and others are expected to be fixed in the next update in a few weeks.
Early Access for skate. on PC requires a controller, as keyboard and mouse are not supported. Compatible options include PS4 DualShock, PS5 DualSense, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S controllers, along with the DualSense Edge and Xbox Elite V1/V2.
The game does not support MacOS or Linux, and while it runs natively on Steam, Steam Deck isn’t compatible. Initial support for upscaling technologies like FSR and XeSS is included with full support and DLSS coming in future updates. Check out the PC requirements below.
