What Is Ultimate Gauntlet?
Now, first off, let’s get familiar with what the game mode is all about. Ultimate Gauntlet is a limited-time event within Ultimate Team in which you have to complete tasks to earn rewards. The tasks are quite simple, as you have to win a certain number of games for each reward. Sounds pretty easy, right? Well, there are a couple of caveats.
The game mode consists of a total of 3 rounds, and the catch is that for each round, you have to use a completely different squad than the previous one. No players from the starting 11 or the substitutes can be in the next team. This makes it tricky, as you have to make a good team and balance it out so that each team is as competitive as the last. Essentially, what you’d want to do is make a strong team for the first round, but it largely depends on luck as to what type of team your opponent plays with.
All Tasks And Rewards
As you progress in the game mode by completing the tasks, you can get better rewards. The highlight of this mode is an 84-rated cornerstone, Mohammed Kudus. To earn this reward is the real challenge, and we’ll be getting into that later.

Now, to earn Mohammed Kudus’ cornerstones version in this game mode, you’ll have to go a full round without losing any matches. That means consecutive wins to achieve that card, and trust me, you wouldn’t want to miss out on it. The card features excellent stats, with a 91 Pace, 88 Shooting, and 88 Dribbling.
However, even if you fail to do the perfect round, you’ll still be able to progress forward from that task and on to the next ones to earn rewards from them. That’s a relief for anyone who’s not too confident in doing a perfect round.
Overall, the game mode looks to be rewarding players with great rewards, so you should definitely have a go and see how far you can progress in the mode. It is available for only a limited time, though, so don’t wait around for too long!
