EA Sports has officially unveiled the nominees for EA FC 26 Team of the Year, with fan voting now open across the web, in-game, and social platforms. One of the biggest additions to this year’s campaign is the introduction of Men’s and Women’s Team of the Year Captain awards, giving players even more influence over how football’s most celebrated in-game honors are decided.
Team of the Year remains one of EA FC‘s biggest marquee promos, allowing fans to vote for the best performers from the 2025 calendar year. Fan-selected TOTY XI players will receive special TOTY Player Items in EA FC 26 and FC Mobile, with voting currently live via the official EA FC website and in-game player picks.
TOTY items will roll out in EA FC 26 Ultimate Team between January 16 and January 30:
- January 16 – 22: Attackers, midfielders, defenders, and goalkeepers released on a rolling basis
- January 23 – 30: Full TOTY Best XI available, along with Men’s and Women’s 12th Player items and Honorable Mentions
Team Of The Year Captains
For the first time, EA FC is introducing a Men’s and Women’s TOTY Captain, designed to honor players considered truly transcendent over the past year. All TOTY XI nominees are automatically eligible, but Captain selections can only be made through the official EA FC website.
The winning captains will be revealed on January 15, becoming available in FC Mobile the same day and in EA FC 26 on January 16.
